1. Who provides AskMats

1.1AskMats is provided by Sports World Travel ApS, Bolbrovej 31, 5882 Vejstrup, Denmark, VAT DK41504609 (“Sports World Travel”, “we”, “us”). Your agreement is with us.

1.2AskMats is a co-creation by Sports World Travel ApS and Sorrato. Sorrato builds and runs the app as our technical partner.

1.3“You” means the company or organisation that uses AskMats, and each person who uses AskMats on its behalf.

2. Who may use AskMats

2.1AskMats is for business use only. You use it for your company or organisation, and you confirm that you may accept these terms on its behalf. Consumer protection rules that apply only to consumers, such as the right of withdrawal, therefore do not apply.

2.2You must be at least 18 years old.

2.3The details in your account must be correct and up to date.

3. Your account

3.1You sign in with a one-time code sent to your business email address. Keep access to that mailbox secure.

3.2Each seat is for one named person. Do not share your access. A colleague gets their own seat when you invite them.

3.3You are responsible for what happens in your account and for the colleagues you invite.

4. Licences, prices and payment

4.1A licence is per company, per event. The plans are:

4.2More than ten users, or access for an event organiser, is offered on request. The current prices are on askmats.com.

4.3Prices exclude VAT. VAT is added where it applies, or reverse-charged if your business has a valid EU VAT number. A service fee of €4.99 is added to each payment.

4.4You pay in advance by card or another method offered at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe for Sports World Travel. Your licence becomes active after a successful payment, and AskMats only starts matching after that.

4.5Before you pay, you can set up your profile with AskMats and import a list for free.

4.6You receive a receipt and an invoice from Sports World Travel. A price change never affects a licence you have already paid for.

5. What a licence includes

5.1From payment until 30 days after the last day of the event, you have full use of AskMats for that event: matching, briefings, notes, follow-up drafts and the event chat.

5.2After that, the event moves to “Your events” as a read-only history for as long as your account exists. The uploaded lists and the company information are deleted six months after the event, as the privacy notice explains.

5.3Fair-use limits apply, for example to the number of chat messages per day and to the size of lists. They keep AskMats fast and affordable for everyone. AskMats tells you in the app when you reach a limit.

6. Cancellation and refunds

6.1AskMats starts working for you as soon as you pay, so a licence cannot be cancelled once matching has started.

6.2If AskMats cannot deliver matches for the event you paid for, and we cannot fix this within a reasonable time before the event, we refund the licence fee in full.

6.3Refunds are never made automatically. To ask for one, contact us through the contact form in the app or on askmats.com, and we assess your request. Other refunds are at our discretion. Refunds go back to the original payment method.

7. What AskMats does and does not do

7.1AskMats uses AI to read the attendee list, compare companies with your profile, suggest who to meet, write briefings and draft follow-ups.

7.2AskMats can be wrong or incomplete. Every match shows its reasons and sources, so check them before you rely on a suggestion. AskMats does not guarantee meetings, deals or other business results.

7.3AskMats does not book meetings or send messages on your behalf. You decide who to meet and what to send.

7.4AskMats works next to the event app and does not replace the organiser’s tools. AskMats is not connected to any event organiser unless we say so.

8. Lists and content you upload

8.1Only upload lists and content you are allowed to use, under the organiser’s terms and under data protection law. Use the details of the people on a list only to prepare for and follow up on that event.

8.2Do not upload sensitive personal data, such as health information, or content that is unlawful.

8.3Your content stays yours. You allow us to store and process it to provide AskMats to you.

8.4We never use your content to train AI models. We may use anonymised, combined statistics that cannot identify you, your company or anyone on your lists, to run and improve AskMats.

8.5You are responsible for the follow-up messages you send, including compliance with rules on unsolicited email.

8.6If someone makes a claim against us because you uploaded or used content without permission, you cover the reasonable costs of that claim.

9. Fair and safe use

When you use AskMats, do not:

• share your access, or resell or lend AskMats to others
• copy or extract AskMats content, prompts or data in bulk, or use bots or scrapers
• try to reverse engineer AskMats, test its security or get around its limits
• upload malware or anything that harms AskMats or other users
• use AskMats to build a competing product
• use AskMats for spam or unlawful profiling of people

If you misuse AskMats, we may suspend your access and charge the AI and operating costs the misuse caused.

10. Intellectual property

10.1The AskMats software, design, matching method and the names Mats and AskMats belong to Sports World Travel, Sorrato or their licensors.

10.2During your licence you have a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use AskMats for your own business.

10.3You may use the briefings, notes and follow-up drafts that AskMats prepares for you freely in your own business.

11. Availability and support

11.1We do our best to keep AskMats available, especially on the event days you have booked. We cannot guarantee that AskMats is always available or free of errors. Maintenance and outages at external services, such as hosting or AI providers, can interrupt AskMats.

11.2For questions, use the contact form in the app or on askmats.com. Sports World Travel answers first and passes technical questions to the technical team.

12. Liability

12.1Our total liability towards you is limited to the licence fee, excluding VAT, that you paid for the event the claim relates to.

12.2We are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost profit, missed meetings or missed business, or for decisions you make based on suggestions from AskMats.

12.3These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, such as in case of intent or gross negligence.

13. Ending your use

13.1You can stop using AskMats at any time and ask us to close your account. A licence that has already started is not refunded, except under section 6.

13.2We may suspend or close an account if these terms are breached or a payment fails. Where reasonable, we warn you first and give you time to fix it.

13.3If we stop offering AskMats, events that have already been paid for are still delivered.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We tell you about important changes by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. A change never applies to a licence you have already paid for unless the law requires it.

15. Law and disputes

15.1Danish law applies to these terms.

15.2If you have a complaint, contact us first so we can try to solve it together. Disputes that we cannot solve go to the competent court in Denmark.
